Welcome to our redesigned
website! Our purpose for this site remains the same: to provide an inexpensive but effective tool to connect,
strengthen, engage, and sustain Southeast Asian & Pacific Island CRCs - in the U.S. and Canada, and not too far down the
road, with ministry partners in our native homelands. Techie folks will call this an "information portal." In our
language, it is a website that aims to be Simple and Useful with some eternal value! But before
you go any further, did you notice the site's name had changed? - Since 2004, our group (and site) had been called AAPM (Asian-American Pastoral Ministry). AAPM evolved
out of earlier efforts since 1999 when Home Missions organized an Asian planning and consultation group.
- After the June 2007 Leadership Summit, we adopted the name SEAPI (Southeast
Asian and Pacific Islands). In recent years, a few congregations in the Los Angeles area affiliated with the CRC that included
Indonesians, Indians, and Samoans.
Well, why
don't you go ahead and get to know our redesigned site. Again, we'd love to hear your comments and suggestions how
we can improve it further. Send email to info@asiancrc.org. Let me
end with this note: it is our hope this site will serve as a do-able model and teaching tool for churches without big budgets
and technical expertise to put up their own websites. We're more than willing to share what we're learning as we build
this site. Our prayer? May our Gracious God bless all kinds of efforts that are meant to proclaim the Gospel and help build
His church among the SEAPI communities. To God be the glory!
